- What can I pay?
- Tills at shops, restaurants and stalls, paybills (including ones that need an account number) and the QR codes shops show at the counter. When you type a till number, the app shows the shop's registered name before you pay.
- Do I need a mobile money account?
- No. You pay from your Summo account, and the shop receives the payment in shillings.
- Can I send money to someone's phone number?
- No. A mobile money number is the person's phone number, and QR Pay pays till and paybill numbers, not phone numbers.
- How much does it cost?
- A service fee that depends on the amount, itemized before you confirm. Summo sponsors the network fee, so you don't pay one.
