- What can I pay?
- The QR codes shops, cafés and kiosks show at the counter.
- Do I need an Argentine DNI?
- Yes. Paying in Argentina needs a Summo account verified with an Argentine DNI, whatever your nationality.
- Can I pay with a passport?
- No. A passport isn't accepted for payments in Argentina, even an Argentine one, and neither is an ID from another country, so visitors can't pay there with Summo. Without an Argentine DNI on your account, the app stops before any money moves.
- Can I pay to an alias, CBU or CVU?
- No. Payments in Argentina are made by scanning the shop's QR code.
- Which exchange rate is used?
- The amount in pesos and what it costs you in dollars are both shown before you confirm, so you see the rate before you pay.
- How much does it cost?
- A service fee that depends on the amount, itemized before you confirm. Summo sponsors the network fee, so you don't pay one.
